The upcoming opening of the Courts Megastore in Barataria, San Juan, marks a significant milestone in our regional expansion strategy. This flagship location will be our largest retail store across the 20 markets where we operate, designed as a one-stop shop where customers can access all Courts services.
This investment of approximately USD $26.9 million includes two phases: the completion of the 46,000 sq. ft. Megastore, followed by the Courts Mega Plaza. Together, these developments will introduce a modern commercial space that enhances convenience and elevates the shopping experience for the surrounding community.
With Phase 1, we have officially entered the final stages of preparation ahead of the store’s opening. Today, government officials, business leaders, project partners, and members of our team convened at the site to commemorate the completion of this initial phase.
The new Courts MegaStore is designed to redefine retail in Trinidad, combining innovation, comfort, and convenience under one roof. From cutting-edge appliances and electronics to stylish furniture, mattresses, and home décor, customers will soon enjoy access to leading global and exclusive brands such as Ashley, TCL, Mabe, Mastertech, Simmons, Sleep on IT, Quattro, RadioShack, and Landranger.
More than a store, this MegaStore represents a commitment to excellence and community. It will feature immersive experiences, including live cooking demonstrations, interactive gaming zones, and an in-store Starbucks café, alongside the traditional flexible financing options and advanced digital solutions for a seamless shopping journey.
