We continue strengthening our logistics infrastructure with the official inauguration of our new Distribution Center in Nejapa, San Salvador department. Spanning 27,350 m², this modern facility redefines the region's logistics standards and becomes a strategic pillar for our operations in Latin America.

The project centralizes our logistics operations in El Salvador and allows us to achieve higher levels of efficiency, cost reduction, and delivery agility, with a focus on technological innovation and sustainability. For our customers, this means shorter delivery times, greater product availability, and the peace of mind of a more agile and reliable service.

"This new Distribution Center is a key piece in our logistics evolution. It reflects our commitment to excellence, to our people, and to every customer who trusts us. Today we celebrate a platform that prepares us for the future, opens opportunities, and reinforces our conviction that, together, we can create better experiences for our team members and customers," said Pedro Flores, Logistics Manager at Unicomer Group El Salvador.

The complex incorporates state-of-the-art technology in service of our supply chain. Among its main capabilities are a cloud-based Warehouse Management System (WMS) with real-time information and artificial intelligence, which optimizes every step of the operation; narrow-aisle racking that maximizes storage capacity and productivity; and electromechanical ramps and docks that streamline loading and unloading operations. In addition, new-generation electric forklifts—more efficient and environmentally responsible—along with continuous-flow designs and 14-meter-high ceilings provide operational flexibility and space for future growth.

Furthermore, the new center creates more than 100 direct and 150 indirect jobs, consolidating our role as a driver of economic development in the area. For our customers, this investment translates into faster deliveries, reliable inventory, and greater coverage, while for our suppliers and strategic partners, it means more agile, coordinated, and efficient receiving processes.

In terms of sustainability, the center incorporates smart LED lighting, water management systems, recycling processes, and readiness for solar panel installation. With this, we move forward toward international certifications such as LEED and reaffirm our aspiration to be a regional benchmark in sustainable infrastructure.

With this opening, we now have 15 distribution centers across the regions where we operate, and we continue advancing our regional plan with new investments in Costa Rica (29,550 m²) and soon, in Honduras (13,500 m²) and Guyana (11,149 m²), building a world-class logistics network that is more integrated, efficient, and future-ready.
