Unicomer Group and “Crece” Latin-American Foundation, executing arm of Banco Latinoamericano de Comercio Exterior S.A. (Bladex) social projects, aware that a key factor in achieving a more prosperous and equitable society is providing children and young adults with adequate conditions so that they can enhance their abilities and translate them into economic and social growth for the country, which is why they came together to donate a Computer room at the “Corazón de María” Catholic School.
With this contribution, more than 750 students of the school will benefit from being able to receive their computer classes in properly equipped physical facilities with programs and the necessary furniture to enhance their academic performance.
Alliances like these contribute to building a society with better opportunities for the most vulnerable sectors.
The “Crece” Latinamerican Foundation was established in 2013 as an instrument through which the social responsibility initiatives and programs that Bladex has been developing for more than 30 years are channeled, within the communities in which it has the privilege of operating.
It’s with this premise that, starting in 2014, the implementation of an active social program focused mainly on promoting education and youth both in Panama, headquarters of the Bank's Headquarters, as well as in several Latin American countries, began.
