A massive expression for peace, that was what happened in the first race #YoCompartolaPaz, organized by La Curacao El Salvador, sponsored by the Gran Via shopping center.
About 700 runners of all ages gathered Sunday morning April 10 to run for peace, in a closed circuit 2, 5 and 10 kilometers.
The activity, which took as a starting point release white balloons as a symbol of the commitment of all participants to bring to the highest its commitment to peace, is part of the campaign #YoCompartoLaPaz La Curacao, a leading brand of Unicomer Group, launched in January.
“What better expression for peace to run freely and in family! This race gave us the opportunity to bring together those who love to run with a very important cause for El Salvador: to promote the value of peace, ” noted Juan Jose Giron, General Manager for Unicomer Group El Salvador.
The #YoCompartolaPaz race also had the backing of leading brands such as Sony, Mabe, City Travel, Huawei, Radio Shack, Optical La Curacao and Mastertech among others, and through which all participants prizes were raffled; in addition to reward the first three places in male and female categories 5 and 10 kilometers.
